Anna Tew is a fully qualified, registered nurse with a first class degree in Adult Nursing.
Anna has worked at the Homerton University Hospital in East London for several years, with experience in surgical, medical, acute and emergency care.
Anna has always had a passion for aesthetics which is now chosen area as she believes in the importance of looking and feeling good and the positive impact this can have on your happiness, confidence & wellbeing.
Anna works in a clinical setting meaning everything is kept sterile, with her number one priority being patient safety and helping her clients to look and feel great.

Injectable Anti-wrinkle Treatments (Botox)
Anti-wrinkle injections use a small amount of a liquefied protein called Botulinum Toxin Type A (Botox) to relax the facial muscles and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
Anna aims to create natural looking results that leave clients looking refreshed.
If your preference is to have little or no movement, this can also be discussed and potentially achieved after your consultation.
Anna will carry out a full medical assessment and discuss the procedure with you beforehand, as well as answer any questions you may have. Anna will also talk you through any possible, temporary side effects and will help you to set realistic expectations.
Aftercare
Anna will tailor a specific aftercare package for you in order to achieve the optimum results and most treatments have little or no down time.
There is a dedicated aftercare phone number for all patients to contact between the hours of 00:00 - 00:00 5 days a week should you be concerned about any of the reactions to treatments that you have undergone and follow up appointments will be offered for anyone with any such concerns.
If you experience some mild swelling and redness this can be a bi-product of the beauty treatment. This would normally subside very quickly. Your results will visible around 14 days after treatment.
Aftercare instructions
It’s very important to leave the treated area alone!
Please try and avoid touching, rubbing or applying pressure to your face.
You should limit exercise for 24 hours after your treatment and aim to maintain a normal heart rate.
You should avoid alcohol and blood thinners 24 hours before and after treatment.
It is very important to avoid any other skin treatments for at least 24 hours after your treatment.
All patients should avoid exposure to the sun and not use saunas, steam rooms, hot showers/baths and tanning beds.

Dermal fillers can be used to lift and shape the face and to replace volume that has been lost. Hyaluronic acid is a natural component of your skin and can help to stimulate collagen to provide a more youthful appearance.
There are a wide range of fillers available, from very light weight ones that are used to provide volume to the lips or to provide a fresher look under the eyes, to quite hard weight ones that can be used to restructure the jaw and nose.
Anna will discuss your desired outcome with you and help you to set realistic expectations. Anna’s aim is always for you to look like a fresher, younger, version of you.
It can be tempting to want to use more product sometimes but this is when you start to no longer look like yourself, and it really can be a slippery slope. Anna will ensure that you stay true to your unique and natural beauty - less really is more!

Fat Loss Injections (Fat Dissolving)
Fat Injections are a non-surgical treatment used to reduce localised, stubborn fat deposits.
It involves injections with deoxycholic acid, a natural substance which is produced in the gut to liquefy and digest fat.
The injections liquefy the fat cells, and the released fatty acids are eliminated naturally through the lymphatic system. It is a safe and minimally invasive treatment for fat reduction, for those who are not suitable or do not wish to undergo surgery such as Vaser Lipo.
Aqualyx helps with those areas that are resistant to diet or exercise, but it is not to be sought as a replacement for a healthy lifestyle. In fact it’s important to eat well and exercise in order to maintain the results.
Developed by renowned aesthetic surgeon the late Professor Motolese, Aqualyx has been available internationally since 2009, and is growing in popularity day by day.
Aqualyx can be used to treat areas of the body such as:
1. Chin
2. Abdomen
3. Flanks aka love handles
4. Outer thighs (such as ‘saddle bags’)
5. Banana roll (i.e. between the lower buttocks and upper thighs)
6. Knees
7. Avoid any blood thinners (e.g. alcohol, aspirin, Vitamin E, some herbal preparations and supplements) for 2 days prior to and 2 days after treatment. Thin blood results in increased risk of bruising, so help minimise bruising risk by avoiding anything that can thin your blood.
8. Take arnica tablets as follows: 2 tablets every 2 hours for 5 days prior to the treatment. The 30c potency are best.
9. You may wish to purchase the products mentioned in the next section PRIOR to your treatment so you don’t need to visit the chemist after treatment.
Protocol for resolving bruising and swelling
1. Hot compress: very hot water, soak clean cloth, wring out very tight, lay over the face so that the heat and steam goes to the face. Repeat several times, ideally every 2 hours if possible.
2. Arnica cream: Available in Boots, apply generously before going to bed, will help resolve bruising.
3. Wearing a compression garment can help with the swelling (and results).
Aqualyx Aftercare Advice
Immediately after treatment, there may be slight redness, swelling, tenderness and an itching sensation in the treated area. This is a normal result of the injections. The inconvenience is temporary and generally disappears in a few days. If it continues or if other reactions occur, please call us. The results directly after the treatment should not be seen as the final result.
Avoid touching the treatment area 6 hours after the treatment. After that the area can be gently washed with soap and water, and light make-up can be applied in the case of the neck/jaw area after 24 hours.
Until the initial swelling has resolved, do not expose the treated area to intense heat (e.g. solarium and sunbathing) or extreme cold.
B12 Vitamin injections
Vitamin B12 is a water soluble molecule that is essential for a variety of body functions.
Among other things, it is required for good brain health, DNA production and the production of red blood cells.
